Fall in Connecticut

With my work finished in the UAE I am remaining in Dubai into next year.  With the break It was a good time to make a trip back the US and see the kids and grandkids. Besides, no better time to visit Connecticut than in the fall.  I spent about 10 days there in between a trip to Chicago and San Diego and was blessed with excellent weather and those famous autumn colors.  Mike, Monika and Dylan (9) live in the city of Waterbury while Lacey, Scott, Willow (9) and Maisy (3) about 45 minutes north in rural Barkhamsted.  I had time to relax and take long walks in addition to attending the grandkid events such as Dylan’s flag football game and Maisy’s story time.  A bonus was being there for Mike’s 43rd birthday dinner.  Great visit and out of there before the winter sets in….
